Access to Justice Division

The Access to Justice Division is responsible for legal and policy advice on family law, including the implementation of the new family law system, administrative law, evidence, service and execution of process, legal practice and procedure, and courts and tribunals.

It is also responsible for procedures for handling international family law matters (including adoption, child abduction, custody and some types of maintenance) and service, evidence and judgments in international cases, as well as promoting international cooperation on civil legal procedures.
