Security In Government Conference 2006

9 to 11 May 2006

The Protective Security Coordination Centre (PSCC), a Division of the Attorney-General's Department hosted the 19th Security in Government (SIG) Conference at Canberra's National Convention Centre from 9 to 11 May 2006. The SIG 2006 theme was, ‘Security and the Australian community’, which aimed to include protective security, counter-terrorism and the impact of the current security environment on the Australian community in the content.

SES Breakfast

The Security in Government Conference 2006 SES Breakfast was held on Monday 1 May at the National Museum of Australia.

Speakers included Dr Peter Shergold AM, Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and Ms Jane Halton PSM, Secretary of the Department of Health and Ageing.
