
The Australian Government Attorney-General’s Department recognises the central importance of consultation with key stakeholders on intercountry adoption issues. The Department works with a number of consultative groups to ensure that both whole of government views and public opinion and experience are considered in our decision making process and reflected in the development of Australian Government policy on intercountry adoption.
